Thank you for your interest in Tennis Outreach Programs (TOPs), a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to empowering youth through tennis, education, fitness, and character development, regardless of economic circumstances.
Welcome to Tennis Outreach Programs (TOPs)
If you're looking to support your child's tennis journey with us, we offer financial assistance based on the City of Kirkland's guidelines and on a case-by-case basis for those who don't meet the listed income criteria.
Financial Assistance for Your Child’s Tennis Journey
This program is made possible by our generous donors. TOPs covers 50%, 75%, or 95% of class fees, depending on individual circumstances, for up to two class programs per session. Families are approved for one year, but eligibility doesn't guarantee fund availability. All information is kept confidential.
Program Funding
Additional classes, private lessons, court rentals are not eligible for financial assistance. You can participate in these programs, but must pay the full fee at the time of service.

A household is defined as individuals listed on your IRS income tax return and/or all individuals living in your home that you care for.
Eligibility and Restrictions

Application Process
As part of our Financial Assistance Program, we require documentation to verify household income. This ensures that support is directed to families who need it most. All information submitted is kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of evaluating eligibility.
Acceptable Documentation
To verify income, please submit your most recent federal tax return (Form 1040) - First two pages. We may request further documentation, such as one or more of the following for your household:

Two recent pay stubs – For each working member of the household

W-2 forms – For each adult if a tax return is unavailable

Proof of government assistance – Such as SNAP, TANF, SSI, SSDI benefit letters

Unemployment benefit statement – If applicable

Letter from employer – On company letterhead, stating position, hours, and pay
For self-employed individuals, we accept:

Schedule C from tax return

Profit and loss statements

Business bank statements
